And..I finally turn 22…

So I finally turned 22 on the 19th. I had started writing this post 12:45am on 19th but never got down to completing it.

The day started at a bad note. I had started writing this post sayinghow miserable I was feeling when my computer started acting out and got hung and I was left with only two lines of the post I had originally written. And I’m glad that happened, it didn’t give me much time to brood over it and make things worse for myself.

The next morning I wake up feeling good. Parents wish me and give me the gifts. I already knew what I was getting which kind of spoilt the fun for me but its also a good thing ’cause I got to choose what I wanted. I needed a new cell phone so I got the Nokia 7610 Supernova and I’ve been loving it so far. Parents also gave me a pair of white gold ear-rings which I got many compliments for, yay ! :)

I went to college that morning not expecting much. I knew my classmateswould get me a cake as was the norm. Its more like a formality now that things had changed so much. But then I had fun the entire time. One of the girls in class had got her camera and we ended up taking tons of photos for the 1st full hour. Then AM took me and another friend for a drive in her boyfriend’s car. We ended up going to the mall and spent sometime there. Then got back right in time for a class which I attended with the others. By the end of it all of us were really hungry so we thought of heading over to a cafe near by to grab a bite. But not before they got the cake and got me to cut it and all. Only the girls of my class, AM’s boyfriend and an acquaintance were around then. RK and the rest of the guys had other things to attend to and I must mention here, even after everything that happened earlier, they both had wished me in the morning. MT had sent me a text message and RK wished me first thing when he saw me in class that morning. After that we girls headed to the cafe where I treated them for lunch. Had a nice long conversation over a lot of junk food and headed back to college for the last class and then off home by 3.

I spent the eveningwith family: my parents, aunt, uncle and cousin. We went out for dinner, ended up cutting another cake there. Aunt got me a gold bracelet inspite of knowing that I’m not going to wear it again and cousin dearest gave me 25 OMR to spend! :)

Got back home right on time for PI’s call. He hadn’t forgotten after all and we spoke for almost 25 minutes. Crazy guy wouldn’t hang up inspite of me reminding him that it was an ISD call. But he insisted and I’m glad he did. :)

On the whole the day went really well and I’m grateful and happy….. :)
